Today, Tab and Erika welcomed baby boy Nixon Talbot to the family. Weighing in at 8 pounds, 5 ounces, we were anxious to come meet our new friend.
Before we left, Kensington had to put on her new sandals. I bought 4 pairs of these sandals because I thought they were too cute. Unfortunately, they make her toes bleed, so I had to put Dora the Explorer Band-Aids on her toes before I put them on. Why not just put on another pair of shoes? Because they’re too darn cute and if you’re going to be a girl, you have to have tough feet!
I told her to give me her best smile.
Here I am with Nixon! He is so cute and so far, I think he looks just like his daddy.

Doesn’t Erika look fantastic? She just gave birth 4 hours before this picture! Us and our boys. A little over two years ago, both of us thought we’d never get pregnant…we’d been trying for a long, long time. Now, here we are, 2 years later with 4 kids. God is great!My family is very familiar with the term Irish Twins. That is when you have two babies in less than a year. My grandmother had her son on October 13 and then her daughter (my mom) on September 12. That’s two babies in less than 11 months. (Those were her only two babies by the way…after that, I think they had their hands full.) Well…Erika and Tab sure came close. They had their two babies 12 months and 3 days apart. That’s pretty awesome if you ask me (and quite funny too).

Nixon is SUPER cute!!!!! Now…on to the important question….how in the world can Erika look THAT GOOD? That is seriously crazy!

I too feel sorry for Kensington's toes but once our little girl arrives you better believe she will just have to endure the pain to look cute! 😉 It's just part of being a girl! Nixon is adorable & Erika looks WAY too good after giving birth! Congrats Slaughters!
